Bollywood actor Raveer Singh is currently basking in the success of his release Rock Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. He has made a mark for himself in the entertainment industry with his versatile acting performances and fashion statements. Over the years, he has broken many stereotypes surrounding men and he continues to do so unabashedly. During a recent interaction, he spoke about actors improvising and revising dialogues in the script and shared that he doesn’t like taking credit for it.
Talking to the same with Anupama Chopra, he subtly took a dig at actors who like taking credits for the tweaked dialogues. As soon as the interview resurfaced on the internet, netizens began wondering if he was talking about Kangana Ranaut. In the video posted on the subreddit Bolly Blinds N Gossips, he spoke about how director Karan Johar had offered to mention his name in the additional dialogue credits, which he refused. Quoted by Bollywood Life, the 38-year-old actor added, “It’s our (actors') responsibility to take something and better it. If you can’t, what are you doing there. So, I don’t want any additional dialogue credit. Well netizens seem to think that this was Ranveer’s way of calling out Kangana and they pointed out the same by taking to the comment section of the post. One wrote, “Le kangu on instagram : These mafias have been jealous of how complete as an artist I am . They dont have the gyts to directly call my name because they are afraid of me.” Another wrote, “Kangu ki bezzati, rant on insta coming for you.” Other one wrote, “Is it Kangu only? She was my guess because she has bragged quite a bit about it. But idk, are there any other actors who have got dialogue credit?”
On the work front, Ranveer Singh will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s historical drama Baiju Bawra after which he will start working on Don 3. On the other hand, Kangana Ranaut will be next seen in Emergency. Not only is the movie her first solo directorial, but she will also be essaying the role of India’s late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Apart from that, She has projects like Tejas, Chandramukhi 2 and Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda in her pipeline.
