Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani, starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, has run into trouble in its last schedule.
A case has been filed against Ranveer and the director (of which SpotboyE has a copy), at Bhor Police station in Pune, for shooting on public premises without the necessary permission.
The story goes, the Bajirao Mastani team was shooting on one of the busier streets in Bhor. Naturally, their shoot brought the traffic to a standstill for hours on end. Worse part was the fact that Bhansali did not even acquire the required permission to shoot on that particular road.
So while cars lined up one behind the other and drivers got exasperated sitting behind the wheel, our maverick director turned a blind eye to everything and was busy filming his period drama.
Unfortunately for him, some of the drama spilled over in real life too. Things took an ugly turn when an advocate present at the scene, a certain Rajindkhan Rahim Khan, approached Bhansali to question how he was shooting in these premises without the required permit.
The temperamental director was not too happy about this intrusion and what started as a heated argument soon snowballed into a brawl. Thankfully, the team members and others present at the scene intervened before things could go out of hand.
However, the advocate promptly filed a case against Ranveer and Bhansali.
