The recently held Star Screen Awards 2019 saw Ranveer Singh bag the Best Actor In Leading Role Award in the popular choice category for his performance in the film Gully Boy.
While no doubt that Ranveer nailed his act as a gully boy in the movie, but reports surfaced on the web that Shahid Kapoor who was also a contender for the trophy didn’t take kindly to it and walked out of the show in a jiffy. Reportedly, Sasha was promised an award for Kabir Singh by the organizers and there was an understanding that he would even perform for the nite, but things didn’t go as he had anticipated and ultimately Ranveer bagged the trophy.
While, these are mere speculations and one can’t know about the truth that lies beneath, but there’s certainly stiff competition for the BIG TROPHY between the two fabulous performers, so we want to know your take.
