As Ranveer Singh’s Befikre released today, industry has been showering praises on this actor and this one wish from a particular actor surprised us quite a bit.
Shahid Kapoor, who will be seen alongside Ranveer Singh in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati, wished him on Twitter and Ranveer’s reply looks like an inside joke. As Shahid wrote, “@RanveerOfficial @Vaaniofficial and team #Befikre wishing you guys all the luck for the release today.” This is what Ranveer had to say, “Thank you brother. Trust you are 'holding fort'! See you soon!”

Well, those who have come late, Ranveer and Shahid were not on good terms when SLB cast the two in his upcoming film. As soon as Shahid joined the cast of the period drama, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali found himself caught in multiple ego-tussles involving his two leading men. The fight went to an extent of Shahid threatening to walk out of the project. (Shahid Threatens To Quit Padmavati, Bhansali Summons Feuding Stars To Save Film, October 5) Buzz is, the trouble started when Ranveer demanded that Shahid be omitted from the inaugural posters of the film. As soon as Shahid came to know of this, he informed Bhansali that that he would rather opt out of the film.
Now, it seems like all is well between these two leading men of SLB.
Padmavati revolves around the beautiful namesake queen and the two men in her life, Alauddin Khilji played by Ranveer Singh and King Ratansen played by Shahid Kapoor.
