Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra's fans have a reason to smile. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Bajirao Mastani is keeping its date with Christmas.
Last week, rumours were flying thick and fast that the filmmaker was pushing the release date of the period drama to 2016 (SpotboyE.com, May 22). Reason - Ranveer's shoulder injury on the sets earlier this year had reportedly thrown the film's schedule off track.
However, when SpotboyE.com caught up with Ranveer, he dismissed these rumours. The actor told us, "These reports are rubbish. My injury happened on the last day of that schedule, that too after the last shot of the day. So we had completed the action sequence. Plus, the way Mr. Bhansali creates his sets are such that their foundation are malleable. So he changed the sets and shot all the sequences which didn't require me, while I was recuperating. According to me, we haven't lost a single day. We'll complete the shoot aaram se and the movie will release as per schedule."
