Today as Rani Mukerji turns 43, she has announced her next project titled Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway. To be produced by Emmay Entertainment and Zee Studios, it is a story of a mother against a country. The actress is thrilled to announce her next, as it showcases a woman’s battle against the odds. As per her statement in PTI, she shared this being her most important film of her career.
She also shared that this is the 25th year of her cinematic journey as she said, “There could have been no better way to celebrate my birthday today than announce this really important film. In my 25th year in cinema, I have possibly signed one of the most special and significant films of my career. I started my career with Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat, which was a woman-centric film, and coincidentally in my 25th year, I’m announcing a film that is also centered around a woman’s resolve to fight against all odds and take on a country.”
The actress shared that the script of Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway is one of the most amazing scripts she has read in a long time. She also shared as soon as she finished reading it she gave a nod to it. Also making this film more special is her collaboration with Nikkhil Advani, who is the co-founder of Emmay Entertainment.
