Kangana Ranaut’s sister and manager Rangoli Chandel has often grabbed the headlines for voicing her opinions, at times harshly, against people and situations that she doesn’t favour. This time, however, her target isn’t between Alia Bhatt or Karan Johar, but rather filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. You may ask why? Well, yesterday, Anurag Kashyap, at the screening of Taapsee Pannu’s Thappad, passed a bold statement directing at the Home Minister of India, Amit Shah. He said how so many problems can be solved if the Home Minister apologises.

“Duniya mai humari aadhi problems solve ho jaayenge agar home minister sorry bol de toh.. kitni problems solve ho jaayenge,” said the filmmaker. However, this irked Rangoli Chandel, to an extent that she didn’t mind in slamming him openly. Taking to her Twitter, Rangoli called it a ‘nautanki’ and laughed on his statement. She wrote, “Do takke ka nautanki keh raha hai Amit Shah ji sorry bolein...chal be photo.” On the contrary, Anurag’s fearless comments opened to warm applause from everyone present.

The Gangs of Wasseypur filmmaker has always been vocal about his anti-CAA stance through protests, interviews and his tweets. Rangoli Chandel, on the other hand, is in the favour of this newly-passed bill by the Indian government and hence the reaction, we suppose.

Meanwhile, Rangoli had recently slammed Karan Johar and Takht writer Hussain Haidry, who, as per her, are planning to bring invasion through their film. It all happened after Rangoli came across a few tweets of Hussain opposing the CAA.  (ALSO READ - Swara Bhasker's Recent Speech Riles Up A Section Of Twitter, #ArrestSwaraBhasker Trends)
