While senior actor Randhir Kapoor battles COVID-19 in Kokilaben Ambani Hospital, as per reports in ETimes, the actor will shift his base from Chembur to Bandra. As per the said publication’s report the Ram Teri Ganga Maili actor will be selling his ancestral residence located in Chembur. Also he has bought a property in Bandra located near Mount Mary church. The reason behind the actor buying a place here is to be closer to wife Babita and daughters Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s homes.
By now the Pukar actor’s house would have been ready to move in if the second wave of COVID-19 would not have affected the country. In his Chembur residence he resided with his brother Rajiv Kapoor, who passed away in February 2021 this year, since then he has been residing alone. Randhir Kapoor also shared his late brother Rajiv Kapoor though had a place in Pune, he mostly resided with him in Chembur. He said, “Rajiv largely stayed with me, he had a house in Pune but he was mostly in Mumbai. Now, I am moving near Babita, Bebo and Lolo's homes.”
The Housefull 2 actor also confirmed that he is moving out of his Chembur residence. He said, “My parents had told me that I can stay in this (Chembur) home for as long as I want, but the day I decide to sell it, I will have to share the sale proceeds with my siblings Rishi, Rajiv, Ritu, and Rima. That's fine as I have done well for myself in my career and also invested well.”
