Bollywood’s yesteryear’s actor and Kapoor’s youngest sibling Rajiv Kapoor passed away on February 9. The late actor was rushed to the hospital after he suffered a massive heart attack. Soon after the news of his sad demise broke, we saw the entire Kapoor clan arriving at his residence to pay their tribute to the late actor. Recently, Babita and Randhir Kapoor along with Rima Jain and Neetu Kapoor were seen hosting an intimate pooja on Rajiv’s Chautha. Late Rajiv had shifted to stay with brother Randhir during the lockdown.
During his latest interview with ETimes, Randhir Kapoor spilled the beans on his last few moments at his home. He told the portal, “Well, I have a 24-hour nurse since I have a bit of a problem in walking due to a nerve related issue. The nurse went to wake him up in the morning at about 7:30 am and he did not respond. She detected that his pulse was very low and dropping further. We rushed him to the hospital but all efforts to save him failed. And, now I am left alone in this house”.
Randhir Kapoor went on to speak up about the losses he has faced over the months. Randhir Kapoor further told ETimes, “I don't know what's happening. I was equally close to Rishi and Rajiv. I have lost four people from my family--my mother Krishna Kapoor (October 2018), eldest sister Ritu (January 14, 2020), Rishi and now Rajiv. These four were my central core, with whom I did most of my talking."
