Since past few days, Kangana Ranaut is leaving no opportunity to attack Alia Bhatt. Right from calling her “spineless” and “Karan Johar’s puppet”, the Queen actress had recently targeted Alia’s work as Safeena in Gully Boy, urging people to stop pampering her “mediocre work”. However, Alia soon hit back at Rananut by giving her a badass reply that Kangana will appreciate her if she works hard enough.

Now, Alia Bhatt’s Highway co-star Randeep Hooda has come out in support of Alia and his recent tweet clearly hints at Bhatt and Rananut’s ongoing war. In his tweet, “Dearest @aliaa08 I’m so glad you are not letting the opinions of very occasional actors and chronic victims affect you and your work... kudos to you for your continued efforts to outdo yourself.”

Things have gone quite a bit out of control when it comes to these two ladies. Now, Kangana's sister Rangoli has got onto the battlefield. Going all out against Hooda, she has tweeted:

Rewind: The war intensified when in an interview with Bollywoodlife, Kangana said that felt embarrassed on being compared to Alia Bhatt in a poll test. She had told the entertainment portal, “I am embarrassed...What is there to beat in Gully Boy performance ....same snappy muh phat girl... Bollywood’s idea of a fiery girl, woman empowerment and good acting, spare me this embarrassment, please. Media have taken filmy kids love too far. Stop pampering mediocre work or else bar will never be raised. During her promotional interviews for Kalank, when Alia was asked about Kangana’s recent attack on calling her Gully Boy work “mediocre”, she had told Bollywood Hungama, “I respect Kangana’s work a lot and I respect her opinion. If she feels a particular way she must have reason to feel that way. I would rather remember how much she had praised me after watching Raazi. And I’d just like to focus on my work. Maybe she will appreciate me again if I work hard enough.”
Uff! When will this hurling brickbats at each other end? With Hooda and Rangoli having joined in, this is far from over!
