In an interview with Times Of India, Randeep Hooda revealed that he had got metal plates and screws inserted in his legs after he suffered a major accident 12-years ago. The actor mentioned that in 2008, during a polo game, his horse Raja slipped and fell on his leg and hence, he had to get metal plates inserted to support his bones. These plates were to be removed in a year, however, it got stretched for 12 years and he suffered an infection. He was left with no choice but to get it treated.
Randeep Hooda was quoted saying, "After the accident, I had metal plates and screws inserted to hold the bones together, heal the leg and bring it back to life. I was bedridden for a long time and all my projects evaporated during that time. I was supposed to take these plates out in a year but either I didn’t have the money, or didn’t have the time. After living with the metal plates for 12 years, which is perhaps my longest relationship in the physical sense (smiles), I had to get them removed because the leg got infected. The foreign body got sick of me. The surgery became a necessity. I don’t know if I will be the same actor once I go back to the movie set!"
We wish the actor speedy recovery. (Also Read: Randeep Hooda's Father Confirms His Leg Surgery Was Successful And Will Get Discharged Soon; Actor Tests Negative For COVID-19 Too)
