Brahmastra is one of the most awaited films of 2020 and there has been a lot of buzz related to the film since it has gone on floors. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, Brahmastra is a superhero flick and stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt along with several renowned actors in pivotal roles. Ranbir Kapoor who has been working rigorously on his film has been quite involved beyond playing his part in the film. The Sanju actor has been taking a keen interest in the graphics and VFX of the film and has been working closely to ensure everything is done well.
According to a report in TOI, Ranbir is a huge fan of the Marvel movies. Since in Brahmastra VFX plays an important role, the actor is working closely with the team to ensure the graphics of the film are good, just close to the VFX in the Marvel movies. Ranbir is apparently involved in every aspect of the film from visuals to sound. The team that bagged Oscar for Blade Runner 2049 for Best Visual Effects last year was supported by an India production company and reportedly, they will be the ones working on the VFX of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s film.
The report in TOI stated that Ranbir is a huge fan of the Superhero genre and the actor is quite kicked about this film. A quote in the report read, “Ranbir is a fan of the superhero genre and he’s quite kicked about this film. This is perhaps the most ambitious VFX film that has been mounted in Bollywood on this canvas. Ranbir is personally involved in ensuring that all the stunts and action scenes in the film look good.” As Ranbir is working hard on the film, Brahmastra has being shot a while back in Varanasi.
Recently, the logo of Brahmastra was launched and was done on a massive scale with 150 drones at Prayagraj. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Mouni Roy. The first schedule of the Ayan Mukerji film has already been shot in Bulgaria. The film is produced by Karan Johar and will serve as the first film in a planned trilogy
