For the past few days, reports were doing the rounds that Ranbir Kapoor has contracted Coronavirus. His uncle Randhir Kapoor stated that the Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actor is not keeping well but he wasn't sure if the actor was COVID-19 positive or not. Now, Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor has revealed that her son is indeed Coronavirus positive and is in self-isolation at home. Neetu Kapoor shared a picture on Instagram of Ranbir and shared the news.
Neetu Kapoor thanked everyone who sent in well wishes for Ranbir and shared that he is recovering well at home. She wrote, "Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well . He is in self quarantine at home and following all precautions." It was just a few days ago that Ranbir's girlfriend Alia had shared a picture with him and Ayan Mukerji as they were shooting for their project.

It was in the month of December last year that Neetu Kapoor had tested positive for Coronavirus. She had then shared the information on social media and written, "Earlier this week I tested positive for Covid-19. All safety measures are being followed and I am thankful to the authorities for all their help and quick response. I am in self-quarantine, taking medication on my doctor''s advice and feeling better."
