Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor is already on thin ice with the Indian audience. With his past interviews resurfacing on the internet and his comeback movies Shamshera and Brahmastra failing to impress them, the actor recently opened up about wanting to work in a Pakistani movie. His comment has been termed as ‘anti-national’ and the internet is asking him to settle down in Pakistan.

The actor attended the Red Sea International Film Festival held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia earlier this month. During the media interaction not only did he open up about his new-born daughter Raha, but also his 15-year-long career in Bollywood, his success’ and failures. When he was asked by a Pakistani filmmaker if he would be open to doing movies in Pakistan, Ranbir said, “Of course, sir. I think there are no boundaries for artists, especially for arts. Many congratulations to the Pakistan film industry for (The Legend Of) Maula Jatt. It is one of the biggest hits we have seen in the last few years. Of course, I would love to.”

Well, his statement did not go down well with the netizens in India. They took to Twitter to express their anger and called the 40-year-old actor’s patriotism ‘shallow.’ They even took a dig at him by saying he should move to Pakistan so that he can eat beef there, a reference to one of his older interviews.
