Alas! Yesterday, Ranbir's ill-health forced Imtiaz to call it a day just before the lunch-break.
An elaborate set, resembling a theatre show replete with heavily garbed characters, was put up at Mehboob Studios (Bandra) early this week.
Ranbir was spotted on Thursday evening at the same shooting, wearing a silver outfit, which was a cross between a robot and a superhero. His face had red make-up which was oil-based and his hair neatly tied behind. But it was the make-up that took a toll on his skin.
Inquiries at the studio reveal that Ranbir came on Friday at 9 am, but soon left because he was feeling very uneasy.
Elaborating on Ranbir's predicament, a source says, "Ranbir noticed that his facial skin had reacted terribly to the make-up put the previous day. So, he decided to take the day off and rest."
The shooting for the song-cum-action sequence features Tamasha's lead pair in myriad, colourful characters against the backdrop of a musical stage show. Even the junior dancers in the sequence are disguised as Lord Shiva, Shivaji Maharaj, and Queen Victoria among few others.
