Rakesh Roshan Winning Against Cancer; Says, "I Resume Office Next Week. My Treatment Has Gone Well"

Rakesh Roshan will get back to his Filmkraft office, from Monday, April 22. Imagine the delight of his employees when he walks in. The filmmaker has confirmed the date of his resumption and said that all his treatment so far has gone smoothly.

Hrithik Roshan put up a very sad and shocking tweet on January 8 saying that his dad Rakesh Roshan has been detected with the Deadly C. The renowned filmmaker, he revealed, was down with first stage of throat cancer and ready to be wheeled in for surgery. Posting a picture of both of them at a gym, Hrithik wrote, “Asked my dad for a picture this morning. Knew he wouldn't miss gym on surgery day. He is probably the strongest man I know. Got diagnosed with early stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat a few weeks ago, but he is in full spirits today as he proceeds to battle it. As a family we are fortunate and blessed to have a leader like him. Love you Dad."

Now, here's some REAL GOOD NEWS. Rakesh Roshan is recovering well and sources close to him had told us last night that he is likely to resume work in the next 6-7 days.


This morning, we texted him and he confirmed, "Yes, I will start going to office next week, from Monday. All my treatment has gone well. I am on my way to recovery."
