This morning, we woke up the shocking news of Rakesh Roshan being detected with throat cancer. Hrithik Roshan took to social media and revealed the unfortunate news along with a picture with his dad ahead of his first surgery. He wrote, “Asked my dad for a picture this morning. Knew he wouldn't miss gym on surgery day. He is probably the strongest man I know. Got diagnosed with early stage squamous cell carcinoma of the throat a few weeks ago, but he is in full spirits today as he proceeds to battle it. As a family we are fortunate and blessed to have a leader like him. Love you Dad.”
Soon after his post, Hrithik’s ex-wife Sussanne Khan among other Bollywood celebs like Tiger Shroff, Abhishek Bachchan, Vishal Dadlani wished the filmmaker a speedy recovery.
Sussanne Khan wrote, “He is the stronger than any super hero all will go smoothly.” Vishal Dadlani said, “My very best wishes to him and of course to all of you, @hrithikroshan! I’m sure he’ll conquer this too.”
