One of the most loved comedians, Raju Srivastava died on September 21 after 41 days of hospitalization at AIIMS Delhi. Last month, he was rushed to hospital after he collapsed while working out in the gym. Raju passed away due to a second cardiac arrest and his funeral will be held on Thursday at Nigambodh Ghat in Delhi. He wanted his loved ones to laugh on his final journey.  In his impressive career spanning more than a decade, the ace comedian made people laugh with his comic shows and live gigs. His character of Gajodhar Bhaiyyaa was immensely loved by fans. The comedian was cremated at Nigambodh Ghat in Delhi on September 22 and his funeral was attended by his family members, and friends like Sunil Pal and Ahsaan Qureshi.

Raju’s tragic demise was mourned by PM Narendra Modi, eminent political leaders, and the entire Bollywood industry. Stars including Bharti Singh, Ajay Devgn, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor, Sonu Sood, comedian Sunil Pal and political leaders like Union Minister Th. Biswajit Singh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and others took to social media to offer their condolences.
