Actor Rajpal Yadav came out of prison late February this year after serving a sentence in a case of non-repayment of a loan. The actor now says he is healed, happy and excited to go back to a film set and start shooting all over again.
Bollywood comedian, Rajpal Yadav was working on Ekta Kapoor's Dream Girl starring, Ayushmann Khurranna and Nushrat Bharucha in the main lead. The movie which is set to release this year is being shot in Delhi and Mathura. And we got an interesting scoop from the set which suggests Rajpal Yadav, who was a part of the film had to be replaced. Reason? Well, the actor’s jail term for Rs 5 Crore recovery suit.
A well placed source on the film set told SpotboyE.com, “Rajpal Yadav had a very important role in the movie. But due to his unavailability they have roped in Stree actor, Abhishek Banerjee to play his character.”
Abhishek who is a casting director made his debut with Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree. His role of Jana was much appreciated in the film and the actor will now be seen in Dream Girl.
Meanwhile, Rajpal Yadav has a list of movies in the pipeline post his release from jail. "I will soon start the shooting of the film Time To Dance alongside Sooraj Pancholi and Isabelle Kaif. We shot the film abroad. A small part of it remains. We will finish that. It could have been finished before,'' Rajpal said to IANS. He also thanked the directors who waited for him to get out of jail. “I am really thankful to the producers and directors who waited for me to come back,'' he continued.
