Rajkummar Rao and Kangana Ranaut starrer has become the talk of the town. The film was earlier titled Mental Hai Kya, but due to a controversy which erupted over the usage of the term “Mental”, the makers had to change the title to Judgmentall Hai Kya. Though at the beginning they were reluctant but gave in when the Psychiatrist Society Of India raised an objection too.
However, during a recent interview with Pinkvilla, the actor not only talked about the film's title but also about his take on Indians being over sensitive to everything. When asked about the same, Rajkummar said, "Even with our film, when the posters were released with the title Mental Hai Kya, a year back, there was no protest that time, but I think when the trailer came out, that's when people started noticing."
When asked him if he feels Indians are too sensitive, he added, "I think people have their point of views. My only thing is before seeing the final thing or the final product, they shouldn't have their preconceived notion.
Further adding, "Like this one, I am very happy the way it happened with our film. A proper screening was held for the association; they saw it and a discussion happened, and that's how we came to the conclusion that we should change the title. I think that is how it should be done. You don't have to protest against anything without knowing about it or having a dialogue with the said party."
Well, as Rao has already spoken about it, all we need to do is wait for the final product to play on July 26, 2019, on the big screens.
