Rajinikanth was admitted to Apollo hospital due to the fluctuating blood-pressure. A couple of days back, a few crew members had tested positive on the sets Annaatthe, because of which the shoot was put to halt. Soon after his admission at the Apollo hospital, Hyderabad, hospital released a statement that suggested that he was COVID-19 negative but his blood pressure showed severe fluctuations and needed further evaluation.
Now a while back, Apollo hospital released another statement giving an update on megastar Rajinikanth’s health. As per the statement, Rajinikanth’s blood pressure is still high and decision on his discharge will be taken later today. The official statement from the hospital reads, “Mr Rajinikanth who was admitted in the hospital yesterday is progressing well. He has had an uneventful night and his blood pressure is still on the higher side although under better control than yesterday. He is scheduled for a further set of investigations today, reports of which will be available by the evening.”
“His blood pressure medications are being titrated carefully and he will continue to be under close monitoring. He has been advised complete rest in view of his liable blood pressure and visitors are not being allowed to meet him. Based on his investigations and control of blood pressure, a decision on his discharge will be taken by the evening," read the note further.
