The accuser went had on to lodge an FIR against the three. Now, months after, on Friday, the Rajasthan High Court has ordered the quashing of the FIR that was lodged against the filmmaker.
Complainant Praveen Shyam Sethi had registered the case at a police station in Jaipur against Boney Kapoor and the other two for allegedly duping him over Celebrity Premier League tournament by taking Rs 2.5 core. As per Praveen, he and his friend had a huge investment in the name of Celebrity Cricket League, which never really happened. He stated how the Producer convinced him that the investment will give him a double profit in the cricket league as he is one of the first investors.
