This is the first time that a film's poster is being launched atop Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in the African continent. Poorna' is an inspiring and true story of a poor tribal girl from what is now Telangana who created history in 2014 by becoming the youngest girl in the world to scale the Mount Everest. She was just 13 when she pitched the Indian flag at 6 a.m., followed by Sadanapalli Anand, another 17-year-old tribal student from the remote Khammam district, a couple of hours later.
This never before heard way of unveiling the poster to the world would be undertaken by Malavath Poorna herself who will unfurl the longest Indian Flag along with the poster to her biopic.
Poorna commenced her climb to the giant Mount Kilimanjaro on 10th Aug and will reach the peak on Independence Day - 15 August 2016and launch the first look to the movie that is based on her life and named after her.
Bose will also have an acting role in the film, as mentor Dr RS Parveen Kumar and Poorna has said Bose is excited even though he is really busy with the post-production of the film.
Aditi Inamdar is playing the lead role as Poorna.
