Radhika Madan who'll be seen in Angrezi Medium next, is pretty excited about her film that releases on March 13. The actress who's earned praises for performances in her previous films like Pataakha and Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, talks about dealing with social media trolls.
We asked her how does she tackle trolling on social media, to which she replied, "I don't give my attention to them. I hardly read any comments. I don't believe in responding to them because then, they will do it even more. It's like giving them the power. Nobody can tell me how I look, whether I'm pretty or not. I know how I look and I believe in myself. I remember that I used to even love myself in unibrow. I used to think that I am Kareena Kapoor. I would look into the mirror and say ki 'Tumhe koi haqq nahi ki tum itni sundar dikho'. So, its on how you see yourself. It doesn't matter what other people think of you."
Radhika even spoke about her campaign Baar Bra Dekho that emphasizes on the fact that women need to do away with feeling embarrassed when their bra strap is showing and people need to stop making a big deal out of it. She even narrated an incident involving her friend when a teacher asked her friend to wear nude bras inside her school uniform instead of colourful bras to school everyday.
Angrezi Medium is directed by Homi Adajania, produced by Dinesh Vijan and will be releasing on March 13, 2020.
