The industry was left in shock when the nation woke up to the news of the tragic demise of Wajid Khan, of the popular Sajid-Wajid music composer duo. Before leaving us for his heavenly abode, the composer has given us some amazing songs, especially to Salman Khan who has collaborated with the duo on several films in the past. This combination has given the superstar a streak of chartbuster albums like Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, Dabangg and Wanted amongst others. However, as Wajid Khan was extremely close to the Dabangg actor, his first and last collaboration was with Salman Khan only. According to the latest reports, the late composer has also composed his last album with Bhaijaan for his Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai.
As per Bollywood Hungama, a source close to the project shared the details on the songs of Radhe - Your Most Wanted Bhai, “The film has 5 songs in all. Sajid-Wajid has composed two songs, one of which is the title track. It is more like the theme song and has a very catchy and uplifting tune. The other Sajid-Wajid composition is a romantic track.” The source then adds, “The fourth track is a romantic, fun song, and is composed by Himesh Reshammiya. Finally, there’s an item number, featuring Jacqueline Fernandez. Before the lockdown was imposed, Radhe - Your Most Wanted Bhai’s shoot was almost complete and only the filming of two songs remains. This will be done once the permission to shoot is given by the government.”
Along with his brother Sajid Khan, Wajid has also composed the 54-year-old actor’s recent single Bhai Bhai which was released this Eid.
The talented artist passed away due to health complications at the age of 42. There have been reports that he had been suffering from kidney and heart conditions for quite some time. While there are reports of Wajid Khan succumbing to Coronavirus, singer Salim Merchant revealed that he had contracted the disease but did not die due to COVID-19.
