Amidst the Coronavirus pandemic, the one film that is raising everyone’s excitement is Salman Khan and Disha Patani’s Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai. The film is slated to release on May 13 but before it reaches the theatres, the film went through the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Much to everyone’s delight, the film has successfully passed through CBFC and bagged UA certification from the board without any cuts, as reported by TOI. The film’s advance bookings have been started in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Just recently, Salman Khan announced the same on his Twitter handle and wrote, “#Radhe ki advance bookings ho gayi hain shuru for the UAE. Milte hain theatres mein. Stay safe!” Apart from the film releasing in the theatres, Radhe will simultaneously hit the OTT platform as well. Announcing the dual release, a spokesperson for Salman Khan Films had said to HT that they will support the threaters and distributors while considering the guidelines and safety measures, but also want the audience to enjoy the comfort of their homes during the lockdown.
“It’s imperative that we all come together and think of out-of-the-box solutions for cinema as an industry during the current pandemic situation. We will support the theatre owners by releasing the film in as many theatres as we can, keeping in line with the rules and protocols laid down by the government. But, considering the guidelines and safety measures, we also need to devise ways to ensure that the film reaches all of our audience. We don't want to deny the audience the choice of entertainment in the comfort of their homes during these times,” the spokesperson said.
Helmed by Prabhudheva, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai also stars Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda and Jackie Shroff. The film to release in the theatres and on ZeePlex this Eid.
