There were speculations of actor R Madhavan playing entrepreneur and philanthropist, Ratan Tata on screen, but now the actor has clarified the rumours during an online interactive session. The speculations of him portraying the iconic role began with a fan-made poster which had hit the internet. The poster showed the actor in a suited avatar with Ratan Tata written on the header of the poster. But the actor confirmed this news is untrue and this being just a fan’s wish.
He also clarified no such project has been in the pipeline or in talks. A fan asked, “@ActorMadhavan Is this true that You are gonna play a lead role in Ratan Tata Biopic?? if this happens it’s gonna be a huge inspiration to many.” Replying to this, he mentioned, “Hey unfortunately it’s not true. It was just a wish at some fans will made the poster. No such project is even on the pipeline or being discussed.” It has been four years since the actor was seen on the silver screen. He was last seen in Saala Khadoos.

One of the users also asked him why he signed the thriller Nishabdham as the film did not do well. Replying to it he said, “Well you win some .
