Ace shuttler PV Sindhu created history after she defeated defeated Nozomi Okuhara of Japan last night and became the first Indian to win the Badminton World Championships. It was a proud moment for India as Sindhu bagged her first gold at Badminton World Championships in the finale held in Glasgow on Sunday. P V Sindhu won with 21-7, 21-7 points against her opponent. The match was played been the two for 38 minutes. Soon after her big win, congratulatory messages poured in for the ace shuttler from around the world. This is P V Sindhu's fifth World Championship medal after winning a silver in Rio games Olympics 2016, followed by yet another silver at Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, Asian Games at Jakarta also got her a Silver medal and last one was at the BWF World Tour Finals.
