Vishal Bhardwaj and Priyanka Chopra have worked together in films like Kaminey (2009) and Saat Khoon Maaf (2011). While both films didn't earn great moolah at the box-office but they were praised by critics and audiences alike for the superb direction and performances by the actors. Now, after almost 7 years, Vishal and Priyanka are confirmed to join hands for a new film.
Reports have been doing the rounds of the two having meetings and discussing projects since a few months, but there hadn't been any confirmation on the same until now. Last night, at a press event for his upcoming flick Patakhaa, Vishal confirmed working with PeeCee and also revealed when the film will go on floors.
"Priyanka (also) wants to work with me. And we are working with each other. Hopefully, we will start the film next year,” said Bhardwaj. Reportedly the film is going to be an adaptation of William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. Vishal has mastered the art of adapting novels by the bard into celluloid with films like Maqbool (2003), Omkara (2006) and Haider (2014).
