In July,
SpotboyE.com broke the news that global icon Priyanka Chopra, has been signed
as a brand ambassador of a pharmaceutical company, Cipla. And recently, the
company released the ad for a new product for asthma, featuring Priyanka
Chopra. In the ad, the actress talks about the time when she used to get bad
asthma attacks and how her mom helped her. For those, who don’t know, PeeCee
has asthma herself.
Priyanka has
become the 2nd celebrity after Amitabh Bachchan, who has been signed as
the brand ambassador of Cipla. Priyanka had landed in Mumbai on July 22 to
shoot for the campaign.

While talking
about her asthma journey to the Telegraph, she said, “Most people who are
around me know I have asthma. It’s not something that I hide at all. Sometimes
after stage shows I need my inhaler. When I’m around dust, I need my inhaler.
So everybody around me definitely knows I have asthma.” Further talking about
how she manages her hectic schedule despite having asthma. She says, “By taking
control of asthma instead of letting it take control of my life. I think
educating one’s self on the condition is important. Asthma is a completely
manageable condition. There are misconceptions that exist and the best thing
that you can do for yourself is to understand asthma completely and fortify
yourself with the knowledge on how to keep it in check.”
Talking about her
upcoming film, The Sky Is Pink the actress said, “The Sky Is Pink is a film
that is very special to me. The minute I read the script, I knew I wanted to be
a part of this film and I am now in the capacity of both actor and co-producer.
Shonali (Bose) is a formidable filmmaker and I can’t wait to see this story
unfold in her expertise. I’m looking forward to working with Farhan (Akhtar)
and (producers) Ronnie (Screwvala) and Sid (Siddharth Roy Kapur) again.”
