Priyanka Chopra is undoubtedly a true Indian at heart and she never misses out on an opportunity to celebrate in classic Indian style be it any event or an auspicious occasion. While she has openly expressed her love for traditions and songs from back home, she seemed a bit disappointed when she wasn’t invited to what seemed a party near her residence.
Taking to her Instagram stories, the 39-year-old actress shared a video from her Los Angeles home, which did not feature her but, shows a view from her house and the Bollywood song ‘Choli Ke Peeche’ was playing in a distance.
For the unversed, she lives in the US with her husband and actor-singer Nick Jonas and their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas.
In the video, PeeCee wrote, “Memorial Day weekend in LA… Why wasn't I invited?” The video in question shows a garden surrounded by Priyanka’s lavish house and seems to be recording the video from her patio. She can be heard saying, “Memorial Day weekend. Where's this music coming from? Let's go.”
Evidently, Priyanka has remained close to her Indian roots despite living in the US and she is currently establishing herself in Hollywood. Being an avid social media user, she often posts pictures and videos celebrating Indian festivals with much enthusiasm and remains very close to her Indian friends in the US.
Priyanka Chopra recently hosted a party for her manager Anjula Acharia at her Los Angeles home. Interestingly, she even had dhol artists adding to the mood. Her husband Nick Jonas also joined PeeCee and her team as they all sat down for dinner and from the looks of it they had a blast at the party.
