This is how it should be. Not laying the blame on others but saying it as it is. Hats off to Dr Madhu Chopra, Priyanka's mother, for spelling out the reason of the cancellation of her son Siddharth's marriage with Ishitta Kumar--- which is being unnecessarily speculated in abundance in Bollywood circles by gossip mongers as per their wild, fertile imagination!
So yeah, Dr Madhu Chopra had told pinkvilla.com that "the wedding had been mutually called off". Pray, what is mutual? Surely both Siddharth and Ishitta didn't start walking towards each other from opposite directions and say, "Leave it. Let's not get married." Not the ones to leave stories unfinished, we felt we should speak to Dr Madhu Chopra. And this is what emerged.
Dr Madhu Chopra told us, "My son Siddharth said he was not ready for marriage yet. He explained he needed more time."
A source says that "this arranged marriage was being pushed a bit in haste". We at SpotboyE.com feel it is better that the wedding did not happen. Good that Siddharth applied the brakes. Never marry in haste. Praise is also due for Ishitta's family who apparently took Siddharth's decision in their stride. They might have initially felt different but must now be feeling that it's good that it did not happen. Marriage is a huge decision in life in terms of responsibility, and unless one is sure, there is no need to jump into it.
Siddharth and Ishitta were supposed to tie the nuptial knot last weekend. We were the first to tell you that their wedding reception is slated to take place on April 30 at Novotel, Juhu. But alas! Soon, Priyanka and Siddharth unfollowed Ishitta- and vice versa. Ishitta then put out a picture of herself at a resto-bar, with a caption that read, “Cheers to new beginnings. With a goodbye kiss to beautiful endings” Ishitta’s mother, Nidhi Kumar cheered her up by saying, “Close old book and write new story,” and Daddy Dearest was not far behind when he wrote, “We are with you; Feel the expanse of the universe and be the star you were born to be.”
4 years ago, Siddharth was supposed to wed his longtime girlfriend, Kanika Mathur. For some reason, that wedding too was called off almost at the last minute.
Woh kehte hain na- Marriages are made in heaven?
