Nick Jonas, one-third of the popular band Jonas Brothers, had made the headlines a few days ago as the picture showing Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas kissing their respective wives Danielle and Sophie Turner with Nick fifth wheeling them went viral on the Internet. The Jonas Brothers had won Best Pop Song for their song Sucker at a popular music award show held recently. While his other brothers celebrated with their wives, Nick Jonas had an awkward loner moment as his wife Priyanka Chopra was not with him.
In reaction to the flood of memes on Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra joined in on the fun and morphed the original photo. She photoshopped herself in the picture to made it look like she was present with him at the awards. Now, Priyanka Chopra has revealed why she couldn’t make it for Nick Jonas’ big moment and told Entertainment Tonight, “I was sick that day, which is why I couldn't go to the VMAs. It was supposed to be this fun night where all six of us got together because we never really get to do it that often. We all have very crazy schedules, and now that the boys are on tour, we meet as the six of us." Priyanka Chopra also added that she was watching the awards at home and when she saw Nick’s face, she felt like she let him down. Which is why she posted the photoshopped picture. She adds, “That's the reason why I love technology. Is it doesn't matter if I was there or not. The picture makes it look like I was and the internet would believe it.”
In other news, Priyanka Chopra will next be seen in the upcoming film The Sky Is Pink co-starring Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. The film is directed by Shonali Bose and will release on October 11.
