Priyanka Chopra has been away from her home sweet home for a very long time in order to fulfil her work commitment during the COVID-19 pandemic. The former Miss World got back to work in 2020 as she began shooting for The Matrix: Resurrections in Germany, followed by flying to London to shoot Text For You and now Amazon series, Citadel. In an interview with Vogue, she shared how she felt working during the pandemic. She felt terrified and was in tears while on the plane when she flew to Germany from LA.
Priyanka said: “I spent six months at home feeling really safe with my family, and then Germany was the first time I left to go work. I cried on the plane. I was terrified.” Luckily, she heaved a sigh of relief by coming across the way COVID-19 protocol was followed on the shooting sets. This led to an increase in her confidence when she shot in London. Also in the initial days, till got used to working in the pandemic, keeping her company was her husband Nick Jonas and her family.
PeeCee adds, “He (Nick), my mum, my family came with me and we spent Christmas and New Year’s together while I was filming. It was really nice to not have to come back to an empty home. Nick wanted to help me settle in. Then, when everyone left, I got on to Citadel.”
