Online trolling is bad and has no limits at times. Often, celebrities receive flak on social media on their respective posts. While many ignore trolls, and online bullying, these days, there are many celebrities who have called out the abusive behaviour and abuses they received and reported it with the cyber cell officials. Now, Pooja Bhatt asks everyone using social media to not ignore abusive behaviour and abuse on social media. The Sadak 2 actress said that it must stop, and ignoring just seems to fuel those unleashing it to target more people.

Taking to her official Twitter handle, actress Pooja Bhatt penned down a long thread urging everyone facing online abuse to not ignore, react instead and report it. She tweeted, “Social media or anti-social media? Motivated, misguided or inherently miserable people target those they wouldn’t normally have access to & those who dare go against popular opinion, unleashing abuse & threats. Ignoring them fuels their frustration & makes them direct hate elsewhere.”

In her tweet, Bhatt mentioned how it is miserable people who target those they wouldn’t normally have access to and the one’s who do not dare to go against opinion, unleashing abuse and threats. She mentioned that ignoring such people and their abusive behaviour on social media just fuels their frustration and make them direct hate elsewhere.

She continued to explain in her tweet later how it is not enough to merely ignore or mute such aggressive, abusive behaviour one observes and report, block abusive behaviour that one receives. Pooja Bhatt then spoke about how criticism is one thing, but abuse quite another, and so, ignoring abuse seems to fuel those unleashing it to target more people. In her tweet, the Sadak 2 actress then said that ‘This has to stop’ as one can and should only agree to disagree, but having access to someone on social media doesn’t give anyone the right to make threats and hurl abuses.
