To keep a check on all the Mumbaikars and to ensure their and everyone else's maximum safety, Mumbai's Marine Drive and other promenades are going to be patrolled by police officials riding on newly-launched segways, a self-balancing scooter. On Thursday, the Home Minister of Maharashtra - Anil Deshmukh - inaugurated a set of around 50 segways at the promenade of Mumbai's iconic Nariman Point. A video from the same was shared by the official account of Mumbai Police on Twitter and it saw the officials taking a test ride on the promenade. Bollywood actress Pooja Bhatt, however, shared a few concerns about the same.
Firstly, Pooja hoped that all contractors ensure the smoothness of promenades so that no accidents occur. She then wondered why the police officers aren't wearing helmets as the accidents if happen, can be extremely fatal. She quote-retweeted the tweet and wrote, "Contractors will now have to ensure promenades are even and smooth so that no accidents occur due to substandard work. Also, no more debris and garbage piled up on any section of them anymore hopefully!"
Pooja added, "Also, shouldn’t the officers using these be wearing helmets? Accidents on these could be fatal."

On the work front, Pooja Bhatt is all set to mark her comeback on the silver screen with father Mahesh Bhatt's Sadak 2, which also stars Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles.
