Jacqueline Fernandez and Sidharth Malhotra’s sizzling hot ‘chemistry’ in A Gentleman set screens on fire and a relationship too, if you know what we mean.

Well, it’s an open secret that Jaccky and Sid’s closeness drifted Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra away. Though the ladies set the record straight through social media and selfies that all’s well between them, yet Alia and Sid could never get back.

Post the release of A Gentleman, the film fizzled out but the buzz of the two stars dating each other didn’t die down.

And now, Jacqueline’s recent act has made us suspicious about her equation with Sidharth, yet again.

SpotboyE.com has it that Jacqueline has turned down an advertisement of a mobile phone brand with Sidharth Malhotra as it was a Valentine’s Day special ad.

Clearly, Jacqueline doesn’t want to add fuel to the fire. Doing a Valentine’s Day ad with her alleged boyfriend, Sid, at this moment would only mean more speculations about the two seeing each other and uncalled attention to their relationship.

Neither Sidharth nor Jacqueline has ever confessed to their relationship till now. May be that’s the reason she doesn’t want to send out a ‘romantic message’ through this V-day ad?

Interestingly, in a recent interview to a leading magazine, Jacqueline opened up about her equation with Sidharth and said, “
These rumours started when Sid and I signed A Gentleman. I'd ask my friends why we are being linked together. Do we give off that vibe? Have we indicated it somewhere? Is it working unintentionally somewhere in the marketing of the film? I just couldn't get it. Every time I've been with Sid, we've been normal together. So, I don't know where it was coming from. If I'm dating someone, I don't need to hide it from anyone. I'm not a 12-year-old who has to hide her relationships. I'm a grown-up girl. If I was dating someone it wouldn't be a big deal for me anymore. I would honestly admit to it."

"Rumours have fizzled out now that the film's over. I guess it was just hype around the film. Give me the benefit of doubt; I'd talk about a relationship. I've always been an open book. But Sid will always remain a close friend." added Jacqueline.

Coming back to Jaccky’s refusal, well, we wonder in an industry, where two exes happily work together, why can’t two ‘close friends’ (as Jacqueline emphasises) work in a V-day ad?
