Actress Payal Ghosh who filed an FIR against filmmaker Anurag Kashyap for sexual misconduct towards her in the recent past, was clicked at the Mumbai airport as she is set to meet National Commission for Women in the country capital, New Delhi today. The actress was dressed in black from head to toe, she was seen wearing a black lace top with the black pair of comfy bottoms, black sneakers as she posed for the camera, covering her mouth with a red mask.
Also confirming the same, was her lawyer Nitin Satpute in his Tweet which read, “Leaving for @NCWIndia office New Delhi in Payal Ghosh Case hearing, will reach Domestic Airport at 1.30 PM by spice jet.” The actress after she alleged the filmmaker of sexual misconduct had Tweeted to the chairperson of National Commission for Women asking her for direction in this case. Replying to which they had asked her to send her complaint with proper description via an email, their reply read, “You may send me the detailed complaint at chairperson-ncw@nic.in and @NCWIndia will look into it. @iampayalghosh.”
After the actress filed an FIR against the filmmaker at Versova police station on September 21, 2020, filmmaker was summoned by the cops and was interrogated for 8 hours on October 1, 2020, post which the actress taking to her Twitter account was seen thanking the Mumbai police for this support.

Post which Anurag’s lawyer stated in a release of the dates mentioned by the actress in her complaint when she was subjected to indecent act by the filmmaker, he was in Sri Lanka honouring his work commitment.
