Payal Ghosh and Richa Chadha ended their legal feud at the Bombay High Court in the recent past. The Bengali actress Payal Ghosh had a defamation case filed against her by Richa, after the actress spoke about Richa being one of the actresses whom Anurag Kashyap named for gaining sexual favours. This revelation was made by Payal when she accused filmmaker Anurag Kashyap of sexual misconduct while sharing her #MeToo story. Now Payal has claimed Richa's lawyer is supporting the trolls targeting her.
Sharing screenshots of the trolls defaming her, she mentioned Richa’s lawyer Saveena Bedi being completely in support of them. She mentioned in her Tweet, “It's utter shameful from this advocate who is running for Ms. chadha. There is a guy who is abusing me without any base and the lady @BediSaveena is supporting her. This is the modus operandi of this Kashyap gang. Waah,” followed by joined hand emoji. The screenshot has Twitter users accusing Payal of targeting Anurag in order to get work.
Her yet another tweet read, “These ppl filed defamation case against me 4 saying names dt mr. kashyap had said &I said sorry being a woman &a human when Ms Chaddha’s lawyer begged my lawyer saying ppl r trolling her now dy r balantly trolling me in social media whch z contempt of court as supported by Bedi”

After Payal filed an FIR against Anurag he was summoned by Versova police. Later she met the chief of NCW and also urged PM Narendra Modi and President Ram Nath Kovind to help her get justice in this case.
