Recently, the Forbes India Celebrity Top 100 List was announced online and it featured celebs like Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt in the Top 10, while Kangana Ranaut was placed on the 70th position.
This didn’t go well with her sister Rangoli Ranaut who’s known to speak her mind on Twitter. Through a series of tweets, she made her displeasure evident. Now, at the trailer launch event of Panga, the actress was asked about the controversy ignited post her sister’s tweets lashing out against Forbes.
Yeh @forbes_india ek number ka fraud hai, I openly challenge them to prove even one celebrity income they have printed in their magazine, sab PR hai, Kangana pays more tax than her entire income mentioned in the poll... (contd)

Said Kangana, “I think to comment on someone’s income or personal affairs without any reliable source is not good. If they want to make a list, they should create a list which depicts who contributed how much to the society and not how much they extracted from the society. There should not be a rut for that. So, all have to consciously take responsibility. We keep thinking that why celebrities are not setting new standards but even journalism should take responsibility of how we can make this society where people think about contributing and not extracting.”
The trailer of Panga was unveiled some time back and it’s already begun trending on social media. The film is directed by Ashwini Iyer Tiwari. Panga also stars Jassie Gill, Neena Gupta, Richa Chadha and will hit the theatres on January 24, 2020.
