Though it doesn’t come as a surprise, it definitely breaks our heart to know that legendary Pakistani singer Rahet Fateh Ali Khan’s songs from Dabangg 3 are being dropped by the makers. The move came after the ongoing tension between the two countries- India and Pakistan, post the Pulwama attack earlier in 2019. Both the nations have decided not to engage their talents for any project, till the tension between the countries settles down. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan had sung 2 tracks for Dabangg’s third franchise, but now those songs won’t be a part of the film.

Hence, the singer’s spokesperson Ahmed Khan as per reports in Bollywoodhungama stated that there is no bad blood between the actor and singer, but the actor needs to take into consideration and abide by the nation’s current interest. Ahmed was quoted saying, “Basically, two songs were recorded for Dabangg 3. Everyone wanted the songs and they’re really good. This song Naina is lovely and everyone misses the fact that Rahat sahab’s version couldn’t go on. But at the end of the day of course he (Salman Khan) has to see the interests of his country, so I don’t think the artist has choices there given the circumstances.” ALSO READ: Dabangg 3 Song Yu Karke: Salman Khan’s Vocals And Chulbul Pandey’s Swag Makes For A Whistle-Worthy Track

Reports also stated that releasing these tracks, would end the film as well the actor in controversies, further letting the filmmakers to bare consequences, which would be harsh and would hamper the actor’s image as well.

He further added, “If the song (Rahat’s version) would’ve been released, there’d be controversies, the film would have been affected and nobody wants that. That’s why we didn’t do the song. It’s not bad blood. It’s not like Salman Khan purposely dropped the song. At this moment, (given) the emotions and sentiments of that industry and the country, he (Salman) only adhered to them. Otherwise we all know there are people who want a reason to damage Salman Khan’s reputation by creating a fuss and having needless controversies. There’s no bad blood, nothing intentional. I would say it is more circumstantial than anything else and that’s about it.”

Salman Khan is currently in news for hosting the ongoing reality show Bigg Boss 13; he has announced his next Radhe starring Disha Patani which will release in Eid 2020
