The tensions on the Indo-Pak border were felt strongly in Bollywood with the industry divided over whether Pakistani artistes should be allowed to work in the Indian film industry.

The Bollywood careers of actors like Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan seem to be in a limbo and now another name has been added to the list.

Pakistani singer-actor Ali Zafar's younger brother Danyal Zafar was set to make his Bollywood debut with a YRF project directed by Habib Faisal.

But with the popular sentiment firmly against Pakistani artistes, Danyal seems to be out of the project.

But guess what? Ranbir Kapoor’s cousin brother Aadar Jain is the top contender to replace Danyal.

A source told SpotboyE.com, “Yash Raj Films has worked with Ali in the past. But post the Uri attacks and the controversy surrounding Pakistani artistes, YRF didn’t want to proceed with their earlier decision to introduce Danyal in India. They looked at other options, as they always wanted to cast a fresh face for the film and as of now Aadar is finalized for this film and workshops are on. The film will go on floor by the end of November.”

The film’s story is based on six jail convicts who get together and create their own music band. Aadar has previously assisted Farah Khan on Happy New Year and studied acting and filmmaking at an American university.
