The ongoing
Padmavati controversy took a deadly turn today after a Jaipur youth was found
hanging in the Nahargarh Fort, Jaipur. A note was found scribbled on a boulder
adjacent to the youth’s body, which said, “We just don’t burn effigies, but we
hang.”

The police say it's not clear if this is a case of suicide or murder. The deceased has been identified as Chetan. His Aadhaar Card was found in his pocket which can help police trace his relatives.
According to Financial Express, Mahipal Singh Makrana, a member of the Rajput Karni Sena which has been spearheading the Padmavati protest offered no comments on the incident.
The film has been falling prey to numerous controversies as the Karni Sena has expressed strict objection to the movie's plot. The latest development is that Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has declared that his government would not allow release of the historical drama in the poll-bound state. "There is a lot of sensitivity in Kshatriya and Rajput communities with regards to certain depiction of history. We respect their feelings and with elections on the anvil, the state government does not want any controversy. Besides that the law and order is also our responsibility, so we have decided that we will not allow release of movie 'Padmavati' in Gujarat," said the Gujarat CM.
Yesterday, it was also reported that Padmavati has received a censor certificate from the BBFC (British Board Of Film Classification) and will release on its scheduled date of Dec 1 in United Kingdom. However, SpotboyE.com has it from its reliable sources and we bring to you FIRST that the film has got certified but will NOT release in UK until it hits screens in India.
