OMG! Awards shows are fake, just TV shows and a money-minting opportunity for stars and a place where commercial films get their due recognition. Ruthlessly unveiling the truth, ace filmmaker
Rohit Shetty just revealed it all and left us in shock. As reported in Bombay Times. Com, the Simmba director revealed it all in conversation with Neha Dhupia on her chat show. It seems like he literally took the show’s title, NoFilterNeha a little too seriously. What do you think readers?
The filmmaker confesses attending award shows majorly on two conditions. Either they are paying him to host the award night or honouring his movie with an award that majorly falls under the commercial film category. According to the reports in BombayTimes.com, the Singham director also mentioned why commercial films are given a thumbs up at these award shows, as it is difficult to craft such movies and people working on such films also equally work hard against a normal film. Also, beside him, for many stars its nothing less than earning some extra moolah for themselves. With his movies having a lot of dance numbers worth performing on, he further mentions stars being approached to groove on Aankh Maare from his Simmba.
Hmm... Well, we don’t know what has exactly left the filmmaker upset leading to such harsh revelation of the very industry which gave him fame and success.
His last commercial hit Simmba starring Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan released in 2018. Just a few weeks ago,
he wrapped up Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif which marks his fourth film of the cop universe.
