Filmfare is one of the prestigious awards for the film fraternity. This award show is a celebration of films, actors, their performances and more. A lot of actors perform and entertain the audience and fans often look forward to this award night every year. Yet again, Filmfare is back this year with its 67th edition on Tuesday night, August 30, 2022, in Mumbai. This time too the event will be full of entertainment and fun.
This time Ranveer Singh is going to entertain the audience by giving a power-packed performance and setting the stage on fire. He’ll be performing one of the grooving numbers ‘Malhari’ from his 2015 film Bajorao Mastani by Sanjay Leela Bhansali starring Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra apart from him.
In the viral video, Singh is seen entering the stage from the audience’s side for his performance. He is seen wearing purple-pink attire in a Peshwa avatar. During the performance, he went through multiple costume changes.
The ‘Padmaavat’ actor also shared a video on his Instagram handle on Monday prepping for the award night with his friend and Gunday co-actor Arjun Kapoor. In the video, both of them are seen having fun while prepping for the show. He captioned it with “It’s on! #FilmfareAwards2022 @arjunkapoor.”
In another video shared by Filmfare, Singh is seen arriving at the venue and rehearsing on stage for his hosting and performance. They captioned it, “Things are hotting up at the #FilmfareAwards2022 #FilmfareOnReels #Wolf777newsFilmfareAwards 2022.” So this time, he will not just perform but will also host the Awards.
The 37-year-old actor is nominated for both Best Actor and Best Actor (critic’s choice) for portraying Kapil Dev in 83. He is competing with Dhanush, Sidharth Malhotra, and Vicky Kaushal for the award.Apart from Ranveer, Vicky Kaushal, Varun Dhawan, Disha Patani, Kiara Advani, and Maniesh Paul are also set to perform at Filmfare Awards.
The awards are still to be telecasted on television.
