Pakistani actress Mahira Khan made a mark in the Hindi film industry with her Bollywood debut film Raees alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Not only did she impress the audience with her acting prowess, but also left them mesmerised with her beauty. Over the years, she has garnered a huge fan base that adores and loves her. She recently attended a literary event in Quetta, Pakistan, where she encountered a fan throwing an object at her on the stage.

Taking to her official social media handle, Khan shared a video of the event. She expressed that whatever happened was not acceptable. Criticising the fan’s behavior for throwing random objects on stage toward a celebrity, even if it is “a flower wrapped up in a paper plane,” sets the wrong precedent. She added, “It is unacceptable. There are times I get scared, not just for myself, but for others who may be trapped in a mob like situation.” ALSO READ: Arijit Singh FAILS To Recognise Mahira Khan At Dubai Concert; Singer’s Heartwarming Gesture Towards Pakistani Actress Steals The Show!- WATCH

In her lengthy note, the 39-year-old actress stated that someone told her that they wouldn’t be returning for an event at the venue. Disagreeing with the statement she explained how that is not the solution. She wrote, “Here was a crowd of 10,000 or more… who were showing their love and excitement - the way they know best. Because I could see them I could see they didn’t know how to contain/express their excitement. Whoever the miscreant was, was 1 out of 10,000.” ALSO READ: Is Mahira Khan Pregnant With Salim Karim? Mahira wrapped up by stating that more events like the one she attended should take place in Pakistan cities as the “more you are exposed the more you are aware and educated. Normalize it. And see what happens.” The Humsafar actress concluded, “People, cities, our culture, our understanding of each other (which lacks), unity (which lacks even more).. it will all flourish! I met the most amazing people. We sat together under the beautiful Quetta sky, ate delicious food.. while we shared stories, laughed and made plans for my next visit. I come back enriched. I love you Quetta. Thank you for the insane amount of love. 🙏🏼 There shall and will be a next time.. and on every end we will be better. InshAllah.”

The 39-year-old actress recently tied the knot for the second time with Pakistani businessman Salim Karim. Attended by their relatives and close friends, the ceremony was extremely beautiful as her son Azlan walked her down the aisle.
