Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra Part One: Shiva has been making the headlines for all the right reasons ever since its release. The audience is overwhelmed by the anticipation of who will be cast in the next instalment of the trilogy. While speculations are rife that Deepika Padukone will be seen essaying the role of Amrita, it is the character of Dev that has left the audience excited.

Many big names from Bollywood, like Hrithik Roshan and Ranveer Singh, have been floating around the rumour mills for quite some time now. The latest name to join the bandwagon was KGF fame Yash. It's being rumoured that he is being considered for the role of Dev. Filmmaker Karan Johar has reacted to the recent rumours. During an interaction with journalist Subhash K Jha, when asked if Yash would play the role of Dev, Karan shared that they haven’t approached anyone yet. He said, "This is all rubbish. We haven’t approached anyone." Even though Karan has dismissed the rumours, it will certainly not stop fans from wishing to see their favourite actor play the role of Dev.

Last month, during an interaction with Bollywood Hungama, the head honcho of Dharma Productions revealed that he was very nervous about the film receiving mixed reviews from the audience. He couldn’t even share his anxiety with Ayan Mukerji, who directed the movie, Ranbir, or even Alia. He had to maintain a happy façade in front of them.

He was quoted saying, "I was humongously stressed. The night prior I could sleep a wink, and I was not able to tell Ayan this, or Ranbir or Alia, because I felt like I had to be like ‘yay, we’ve done this, it’s great, it is going to be massive and don’t worry’. There were all kinds of mixed reviews coming up (after the release) and people were saying either it was amazing or the opposite of it. I felt it (Brahmastra) was such new animal in the jungle, people were having adverse opinions." ALSO READ: THROWBACK!
