Actress Kangana Ranaut, who is now also a Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, currently has her hands full with both movie releases and political commitments. Amidst her busy schedule, the actress is reportedly planning to sell her house in Mumbai for a staggering amount. According to reports, Kangana's property, which also houses her production company Manikarnika Films' office, is spread across an area of 3,042 square feet in Mumbai's upscale Bandra suburb. Interestingly, this is the same property that faced demolition by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in September 2020. The civic body had deemed certain parts of the structure "illegal," leading to a highly publicized demolition. This incident sparked significant controversy, with Kangana taking legal action against the BMC. The Bombay High Court intervened, staying the demolition midway. During this time, Kangana accused the then-Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray, and his government of attempting to silence her and seeking revenge for her outspoken criticism of the Shiv Sena. She even demanded compensation of Rs 2 crore for the damages. However, in a surprising turn of events, Kangana dropped the charges against the BMC in May 2023.
