Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone are all set to impress the audience with their sizzling on-screen chemistry in their upcoming movie Fighter. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the aerial action film will be released on January 25, 2024. While fans all over are excited to see their favourite stars collaborate for the first time on the big screen, it is now being reported that the movie is being denied a release in all the Gulf countries except for the UAE (United Arab Emirates).

Yes, you read that right! According to a report by Pinkvilla, Fighter has been denied a release in all the Gulf countries except for UAE. The makers of the film failed to get Fighter cleared by the GCC Censors. As per the entertainment portal, the screening for the censor was held on January 10, 2024, and on January 23, 2024, they officially communicated that the Siddharth Anand directorial wouldn’t see a release in most of the Gulf countries. This has definitely come as a shocker for the fans. ALSO READ: Laapataa Ladies: Trailer Of Kiran Rao Directorial To Be Played In Theatres With Siddharth Anand's Fighter!

It is to be noted that the exact reason for banning the Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer is not known yet. There is a possibility that the censors found something very disturbing or objectionable in the film. If the report by Pinkvilla is to be believed, Fighter may lose out on business of around 500k to 1 million dollars due to it being banned in the Gulf countries by the GCC Censors.
