Nora Fatehi has been making the headlines ever since the poster, followed by the teaser of O Saki Saki from John Abraham starrer Batla House was dropped on social media. The song, which is a recreated version of Koena Mitra and Sanjay Dutt’s O Saki Saki from action-thriller Musafir (2004), was on the hit-list of Nora. While the song received mixed reviews from the netizens, it was the original Saki Saki girl, Koena, who criticised the song and called it a ‘mess’.
On Saturday, Mitra has tweeted, “My song from Musafir #Saaki Saaki" has been recreated. Sunidhi, Suhwinder, Vishal, Shekhar combination was outstanding. Didn't like the new version, it's a mess! This song had crashed many blockbusters! Why batlahouse, why? P. S: Nora is a stunner. Hope she saves our pride."

Nora Fatehi, who has begun the promotions interview for Batla House, was recently asked about Koena’s comment, she told Mumbai Mirror, “I don’t think it’s really criticism, everyone’s entitled to an opinion and you have to respect that. At the end of the day we are discussing music, which is very subjective. Everyone will not like the same genre or style of music, right? Personally, I set a benchmark with “Dilbar” and I have to work towards surpassing it. After that, it’s for the audience to decide if they like you or not.”
Earlier, when Sanjay Dutt, who was also featured in O Saki
Saki song, was asked about the recreation of the song, he told reporters, “It’s
great that these songs are being recreated, it means that they are still
popular. It’s a good thing.”
